It would be nice if there was an option, either to cimg update (or a new command), or to cimg download directly, to download images that are not yet merged.
I can think of a few possible scenarios:
download an arbitrary image by filename
download an image (or images) from a given git repository URL
download an image from a given PR number on the bots/ repo on github
download an image from the cockpituous/bots/ repo, from a given branch
