The Physics Derivation Graph focuses on mathematical expressions and steps in derivations. Most of Physics education is based on explanatory text with a few mathematical expressions.

How will the PDG integrate explanations needed to assist readers?

The features of having a note per step and a note per derivation are helpful but not sufficient. It's not clear what the "right" solution would look like.
