Feedback: need better way to champion/lighthouse/get buy-in for changing tools to include AllSpice

  • At this point is sadly only me using it
  • Projects with EE support, is contractors
  • Was in inflection point people coming and going into the EE team
  • So it would just be me for getting starting

  • I would love to make the decision and integrate it, but need to get some buy-in.
  • Figure out how this will fit in. Have a project in mind. Just spun up a board very quickly. Starting version 2 in January. Part of a larger project.
  • Definitely want to see this happen
  • I have funding for this small division exploratory task. There's a presentation at the end of the year to show where the funds went to.
  • We're going to be demonstrating at the division level what it is, how is being used.
  • From there, is there is the broader buy-in.
  • Outside of the specific project we're testing.
  • How useful is the tool to our overall development process.
  • Evaluate if we want to do a broader roll out, and if so what that would look like.
