Describe the bug
When viewing the timeline, new data is fetched every minute or so, and causes a rerender of all the timeline content. This isn't usually noticeable unless there is something like a video in which case it is refreshed, even if you were in the middle of watching it.
Expected Behavior
When there is a poll for new data their should either be absolutely no change if there is new content, or if there is new content it should be prepended without rerendering
