Run W3C validation and fix errors / misc clean-up #101

I have run the W3C validation for HTML and fixed most of the errors. The remaining warnings are unavoidable false-positives because of Jinja templates, rest has been fixed.

Have also included other misc improvements:

HTML autocomplete attribute on form elements
Cleaned up unused custom CSS

Merging this is so you can all see where I'm up to with last few styling changes. If it's not working I will revert, but this is mostly superficial styling changes that won't affect functionality. I still need to convert some CSS to Bootstrap, so that will be the next thing, along with updating the main README.
