We need a logo for this project #134

We need a logo for this project. Ideally it should be something that fits nicely into circle and square since our design language has room for a circle logo and the favicon will be a square. But it's important that it does not look anything like the OpenAI / ChatGPT logo.

Aesthetically it should not require color or fine detail in order to recognize it. It should look great in greyscale and it should be recognizable even as small as the favicon. Hopefully DALL-E can help us. :)

My friend has come up with a couple of suggestions.

Feel free to go ahead and choose the one you like best. After that, I'll add the logo to the relevant places in our layout and upload a couple of variants to Google Drive, Dropbox or whatever other place we'd like to use to store this type of asset for now.

@florianfelsing Tell your friend thank you! These are two very good options!! Your friend is talented. I’m going to look at them a few more times in different context and consider different trade offs. Let me circle back tomorrow or over the weekend, but I’ll pick soon in order to keep us moving forward on this.

@florianfelsing okay I’ve tried them out in different contexts and at different sizes. I actually think this one is the best: image

Visually, it’s more symmetrical so it looks nicer when placed inside a square or circle. It has a nice distinctive shape which remains recognizable even when you get down to favicon sizes. And it has a really nice optical illusion effect. You can stare at it and see it as a spiral galaxy (arms swirling around a square) or as a 3d box coming off the page. :) It’s like that classic: is it a face or a vase.

Hi @florianfelsing do you think you'll have time this week to help finalize this? I'm thinking about doing a small push this week to get more awareness of HostedGPT. I have a hunch that the Claude 3 support might be reason enough for some people to want to try it since there's a good amount of buzz about Claude 3 and they don't have a nice consumer-friendly UI.
