Audio levels in video #37

Would it be possible to add some audio level indicators on the GUI? It doesn't seem like something too difficult to do.

Pleae specify what exactly are you talking about? How it should help on mobile device? I think it can be useful with some external microphone.

Not sure it'll be useful.

Just some very basic meters showing you audio levels for left and right. It would be pretty useful since I shoot a lot of video on my phone when I don't want to pull up the big camera. It would be really nice with both external and built-in mics, IMHO.

I want this feature too. I only need just one level (mono) due to I want to record video with external microphone connected to smartphone's combo jack (where mono is only possible). It will be useful. I could watch if sound is recording normally. Because I can accidently unplug audio cable or do not plug it properly, my video could become useless, which I cannot record again. I want to observe not only overlouding, but also from what exactly microphone is audio going.
