Measure untracked time #333

TimeTagger is helping me (as I think it does for a lot of users) to be more productive in my days. I'm clocking, then I'm able to say at the end of the day if my time was managed efficiently or not.

Now, the thing is that, I can't see the durations of my breaks between each work period. Here's my daily timeline: Capture dโ€™eฬcran 2023-01-31 aฬ€ 10 32 29

There is no way to know how much time I spent watching Instagram between espagnol and maths exp. Of course I can click on each item, check the end date, check the start date, do the maths in my head, but it would be so great to have a "toggle" button that allows me to "reverse" the timeline and to see how much time was untracked instead of tracked time.

It'll even improve the way I'm tracking my time with TimeTagger, as I'll be able to see what huge areas are untracked and the times I'm forgetting to put on my timer.

Interesting idea! This has some similarities with #205 and #124.

No, probably not ๐Ÿ˜„

I set priorities based on a number of factors. This idea is a bit niche and it needs careful thought on how it should be implemented without making the app feel more complex for other users. To be honest, there are other ideas and concrete enhancement proposals that have a higher priority / impact. That said, the fact that there is an issue means that I will certainly address it at some point, and the fact that it seems to bundle with a few related issues might help ...
