Support EIP712 message. #137

As more and more L2 solutions are finally showing up, the importance for a wallet to sign a EIP712 is rising, and dramatically if I may say so. Is there any plan to support them? I may try to help, but it would be my first challenge in crypto scene, I may have experience in UE4 projects and other side hustle and commercial products, but I unfortunately would require a helping hand in this if I had to do it for free, as I greatly appreciate that I truly own my ethereum on Ether wall this could be my way of showing appreciation.

Hello,

to be frank I'm considering deprecating Etherwall. I've been working on it as a single person/hobbist since day one with minimal contributions by anyone else. Just doing a new release is already taking too much of my time, not to mention keeping the server running.

With ETH2 on the horizon I think it's time for Etherwall to step aside. I'll be making an announcement with the official deprecation schedule soon.

That's sad to hear, but I hope that you have something even greater lined up for you :D

In that case I'll try to write my own ethereum wallet with blackjack and ---

Well, I would want to only implore you for one thing, could you point me to resources that helped you write Etherwall? Some documents? Or links? Maybe how to test it? (How to secure it would be too much of an ask, I'll try to research it for myself, unless you can come up with something relatively easliy). You would help me immensely because I would get from a state in which I don't know what I don't know to a state in which I would know what I don't know.

Thanks in advance for any help ❤️ And good luck for you.
