Not able to receive / send eth #139

Hi there,

I noticed an issue recently where I can't seem to receive anything into my wallet. My etherwall says its updated to the most recent block of 13538877 but a withdrawal I made back in blocks starting with a 12 hasn't appeared yet. Any idea what the problem might be?

I also tried moving eth from my etherwall account, but now the wallet says its an invalid address and asks for a password (Which I can't seem to find unfortunately)

Could you help me with this. Would be horrible to have my eth trapped in the wallet.

Hello

I need to understand exactly what is happening here first. You sent some ether from somewhere else into an account in etherwall some time ago and it didn't arrive, is that correct? Do you have the transaction id? If not can you provide the address for the account? If you need to keep this confidential you can email me or we can set up some other secure channel.

Generally first thing to do is to see if the transaction is on chain by looking for it in an explorer such as https://etherscan.io if it's not on chain then it didn't happen and the problem is in the sender.

As for accessing your account, if you lost your password I cannot help you, geth uses AES encryption, I'm afraid there's no way we can break it.
