Cross browser and platform large databases #873

Please describe the issue:
I'd really like to write a tutorial with a sample 'app' on how to use large
cross platform offline databases with Html 5. At the moment we have a really
big problem in my eyes with this inside html 5. This is down to two problems
one that we cannot write for one offline html5 database we must pick to write
our app using web SQL and support safari (mobile and desktop), android's
browser, chrome and opera OR use indexedDB and support Firefox, chrome and IE
(10+). Second the quotas and provisioning of persistent storage is completely
different depending on the browser. I'd like to write a tutorial on how to
write cross platform apps with large (45MB) offline databases (using indexDB or
WebSQL) with a small sample to go with it. While I understand that you may not
be 'in charge' of submissions to HTML 5 rocks you wrote wiki/ContributorsGuide
so I am hoping you could guys could give me some guidance on whether this is a
tutorial you would like me to write. I just don't want to go to the trouble of
writing this if this is not the sort of content you want.
Thanks
Matt
