after MAC spoofing, no internet in live #49

Iam using live persistent usb in macbook air. My wifi doesn't connect after typing following commands: 1.ifconfig wlan0 down 2.macchanger -r wlan0 3.ifconfig wlan0 up I even tried using "service network-manager start and stop ". But no use.

Hi guys, Same issue here on a raspberry with ALFA AWUS036NHA using it as a repeater. The raspberry connects to the router sucessfully showing up as a new device, I can access the router UI via the raspberry, but no internet connection. This happens also to other networks, e.g. in a hotel I thought the issue is related to the hostname, but right now I had one situation where the hostname probably was not transmitted, the router set a name by itself, but also no internet.

I really need a fix, as I want to use the repeater connected to a data volume limited network.
