Cannot Update Netflix Movie Rating #116

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What postal code/address, search distance, and search date have you set Now
Playing to?
01730, 5 miles, Today

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Find a movie from your Rental History, or using the Search Netflix feature.
2. Select a Star Rating and observe how the stars update visually, but
"Updating: movie rating" is
permanently at the bottom of the screen.
3. Exit the application and return to the movie you rated and observe how the
rating has not
been remembered. This is also reflected from Netflix's Web Portal.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Tapping a Star Rating will store your rating, and be reflected after multiple
sessions and on
Netflix's Web Portal. Instead, movies remain without rating.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Now Playing v3.8, OS 3.0.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I've allowed my phone to wait for quite a long time, and "Updating: movie
rating" never seems to
go away.

What is your email address? This information is optional, but recommended. It
is used by the
developer so he can contact you for more details.

I provided apple a fix for this issue a month ago. They have rejected that
update. They will not tell me why.
Sorry.

Can it be rolled in with another update or something..? That is literally the
make or
break feature I've been scouring the app store for. The rest of the app is
really solid
and it would be awesome to have it all in one.

Thanks for your reply.

Ah, ok, that sucks... Well, I'll be keeping an eye on progress, so if you do
happen to
get that in, make sure to put a note in the release notes.

Thanks again for the replies, and good luck!
