What zipcode were you using?
Also, there have been issues with apple's upgrade process. try deleting the
app from teh phone:
1) hold down on the app icon until it starts jiggling
2) click the x to delete
3) restart
4) install from teh appstore *on the phone*.

I'm having exactly this problem, though the version of the app that I'm using
is 1.5. Trying your proposed
solution from 8/29 does not work.

Do other apps work?

Yours is the first from the app store that I've installed, but everything that
came with the phone seems to work.

can you try another app ( like pandora)? I've seen iPhones that won't launch
any third party apps without
being restored first.

Go figure--Pandora has the same problem. I'm off to Restore I guess. . .

Well, who knows what was up, but a complete restore fixed my issue and
everything is working fine. Thanks
