3 quotes process https://sites.google.com/a/digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk/gds/how-to-guides/commissioning-team/three-quotes

Once DD approval is received- First contact the Commissioning Team at commissioning-digital@digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk and ask for a WP number and use this reference throughout your procurement process. 3 quotes required GPC for up to £600 Clarity Management Travel for travel requirements (rail, air and hotel) Requirements for stationary through Banner should be addressed to GDS Estates Team.

For purchases over £10,000 excluding VAT, competition normally means conducting a formal tendering process. For more information on the procurement process for spends over £10,000 see here.

to avoid problems next year we have agreed with Bizops and the procurement team: Get budget approval early from P&S leadership Make sure we collate multiple quotes and reasoning for choosing one thing over another (like the venue accessibility checklist) We will have 2 or 3 check-ins with Michelle and members of the central Biz Ops team in the run-up to DSDay24. The purpose is to make them aware of our plans and for them to communicate anything we need to prepare in advance of submitting them.
