We have a govuk-link--muted style in Frontend that we could consider deprecating:
Why
It isn't used by any of our components
As far as we're aware it's not used anywhere else (it used to be used by GOV.UK in feedback banners at the bottom of pages but was replaced for something more noticeable)
We have a black govuk-link--text-colour style which arguably serves the same purpose (i.e. to style navigational links that fade into the background a bit more) – do we need a third level of hierarchy for links?
We should ask the community and maybe search Github to see if it's being used and what for.
Something worth considering is how linked this is to $govuk-secondary-text-colour or captions. Do people use govuk-link--muted when they need a link within some grey text?
