Thanks for this. The code has changed slightly, if you're happy to resolve the conflicts, I'm happy to accept the changes. You can ignore the pre-jetpack stuff and just work off master for which you'll need Android Studio 3.2-RC+ since Jetpack is not available in the current stable version.
