Removing plugin additionals, but add before some content to mainpage of redmine. Using github written hints for removing plugin. But added content are still showing on mainpage. How i can restore original blank page screen before additional installation?

If you have uninstalled the plugin accordingly (https://additionals.readthedocs.io/en/latest/#uninstall) then the plugin has been completely removed. The content left is the one, provided by Redmine standard (https://additionals.readthedocs.io/en/latest/dashboards/#dashboard-faq).

It has nothing to do with the additionals plugin. If it's gone, the content is also gone. Redmine itself also provides options to add content to the Redmine main page (e.g. /settings -> welcome text).

I remember there is a function of plugin, but i still i like it, but collidate with other plugins.... so i still remove them, but cant remove latest news information....

Hi nincns,

What you see (the news box on the right corner of your Redmine home page) is Redmine standard. It has nothing to to with the additionals plugin anymore, which has been uninstalled completely, when using our instructions.

You can not remove this block because it is intend to be there by default. Which mean, this is not an error, it is a basic Redmine functionality you can not influence anymore. As soon as you use the "News" module in any project and have added a news entry, it will be displayed there.

The additionals plugin has made sure that you decide for yourself whether you want to see the block or not. If it is no longer installed you see your Redmine Homepage and project overview page, like intended by Redmine. You can always check this yourself with other Redmine instances without additional plugins installed. Thank you.

Thanks for the information and my misunderstanding of attributing this to the plugin, while using the plugin this also came along, but I would not have assigned it that way.
