feature request: provide hooks run before and after switching windows. #36

Please don't file title-only issues. If you want someone to take the time to add a feature for you, take the time to explain it in detail.

Ah, I thought this would be self explanatory and didn't really know what else to write. What additional info would have helped? I'm pretty sure you know what a hook is! ;-)

Anyways, will reference this again when I have a good usecase via #37 , I guess it will be clearer then.
