I know there's a Melpa badge in the README but I cannot find this package on the Melpa site. Under what name is this package available?

The badges were left uncommented by mistake. The package isn't on MELPA.

I see. Are there any plans to publish it there?

Maybe. I have other projects that are higher priority when I have time to work on them. And this package is simple enough that it might be a good candidate for adding to Org, so I would probably explore that before submitting to MELPA.
