For the Alpheios integration, we would like to allow users to link a text to a tree at a sentence level rather than aligning each word. To support this, we would like the Arethusa api to support a request which, given a sentence identifier, a word, and the surrounding context of that word, find the most likely match for the requested word within the given sentence, and return the corresponding treebank word id or ids.
