invalid sed script #41

from running with bash -x:

sed: -e expression #1, char 43: Invalid preceding regular expression

ps.: in light of https://sfconservancy.org/GiveUpGitHub/ is there any other way to contribute to this project?

Nevermind, realized I was mixing up regex syntaxes.
