In TCD22xx controls, SrcBlkId::Reserved(0xff) is used for silent signal source, however SrcBlkId::Mute is available for the purpose.

I just remembered.

Many devices have the default state that the Reserved(0xff) is used instead of Mute. To avoid updating many router configurations in devices' address space, 'Mute' is not used.
