No switch to Russian language on space swipe #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable hacker's keyboard in settings
2. in "Input languages" check "English(United States)" and "Russian"
3. Open app with text input field(e.g. browser)
4. Long press to select hacker's keyboard
5. Observe that 'space' offers swiping to change language
6. Swipe it, text on virtual space key changes to "Русский"(aka Russian)
7. Rest of the keyboard and input stays in english

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Keyboard should change to russian keys input. All letters input stays english, 
though virtual space key says "Russian".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version is 1.11, htc desire hd(ace), running cm7 nightly #80.

Please provide any additional information below.

Unfortunately I needed to disable internationalization, it was making the 
keyboard unusable for some people (see issue #1) due to conflicts with the 
built-in keyboard. I'll look into selectively reactivating the alternate 
Gingerbread layouts for the 4-row keyboard again, that shouldn't be difficult.

I've only made one layout for the 5-row keyboard so far, it may be a while 
before I'll be able to work on supporting alternatives for that.

I've re-activated the internationalized 4-row keyboards, so the Gingerbread 
layout should be supported in portrait mode now. Patches welcome for a 5-row 
Russian layout, see

yeah, now it's gb layout in portrait and same 5-row-english-not-switching in 
landscape :)

i'll try to do the russian xml, based on de example.

yeah, it works, got a bit busy with work and stuff :)

i tweaked layout, hiding rarely used keys and reorganizing a bit, please 
include the new ones.

Can you try v1.12rc6? I've refactored the way that the keyboard definitions 
work to make it easier for future localizations, and to avoid duplicating the 
detailed keyboard layout for each language. See 
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/source/browse/java/res/values-ru/donott
ranslate-keymap.xml

The layout should mostly match the one you sent with a few small changes to 
stay closer to the Ubuntu layout on my computer.

yeah, it's good, thanks alot, works just fine on my ace and nook color. there's 
no russian language on xoom, though, but that's another story ;)

Thanks for testing! (And the keymap of course.) I'll release the new version on 
the Market today.

I noticed that the Xoom is missing Russian support in the system languages, but 
appears to have Russian fonts installed. I'll see if I can get it working, but 
that's a separate issue. (Filed as issue #16.)

Bulk update - changing "Fixed" to "Verified" for old bugs.

(Background: I'm changing the "Fixed" status to be considered open, the next 
steps in the lifecycle will be the closed states "FixInTest" and "Verified". 
This lets me mark issues as "Fixed" in commit messages without hiding them from 
the issue tracker.)
