As the game progresses and you increase in prowess, you also reveal larger map areas and travel farther distances. This makes the possibility of adding multiple destination markers more likely, and at the same time, the distance between destination markers may be so far apart that scrolling the map becomes necessary. This makes locating older destination markers difficult.
Suggestion: add a function that clears all destination markers off the map. The player may then place an unambiguous destination marker and proceed to travel to that place avoiding any frustration caused by trying to find a hidden marker.
