Dark colors in iTerm2 & vim #290

Some cli tools output information using dark colors which uses the bright black color in the iTerm2 settings, problem is if I change the color & make more visible this affects vim colorscheme. So how can I fix this issue?

See #220 for a lot of discussion around this. A few of us have migrated to base16's version of solarized. I also have a fork of vim-colors-solarized to fit base16's color layout, because I didn't like base16's own vim theme as much.
