The ADMC tool solves a very important problem and it would be really great if more users can enjoy it. This will also attract more contributors and testers.

So can you please file a request to a Debian to include the admc to the official repository?

To do this you need to send an email with "Intent to Package" https://wiki.debian.org/ITP

The admc already have a working deb package so this should be a simple thing to do. @kvvloten you are a maintainer of the debian package, maybe you can do this or help?

Also please add the GitHub repository description and add tags: this helps a lot to find it. If you can add more tutorials, videos and howtos that would be also very great.

Another good thing to make is to create a release on the GitHub Releases page https://github.com/altlinux/admc/releases

To the release you can attach files e.g. the built deb and rpm packages. This will allow to users to install them just today.

You have touched on a very important issue. Our team will look into the possibility of solving it in the near future. We have relevant developments, they need to be prepared and added to the main branch of the project.

Also admc is closely related to its sister project: https://github.com/august-alt/gpui

It makes sense to bring these projects together. @august-alt, work do you think about this issue?

I made a draft PR for gpui to debianize it https://github.com/august-alt/gpui/pull/69 Unfortunately I can't help further.

At least for now you can easily add Github repo tags to make it easier to find the repo.
