Additional context It would make it easier for server owners/developers to recognize client branch and build without need for user to provide altv.cfg or client.log or check version by himself.

It isn't necessary. The whole watermark should go lower, as a speedo can't be positioned normally. Moreover the build number on the screen is an unwanted surplus.

Well removing/hiding watermark is a topic for other issue post. Nothing necessary, but this can and will improve workflow for developers. Especially when someone is providing screenshots. Don't have to ask him for client.log file.

I think we need that information only in the main menu and not in the watermark ingame.

Well, that's debatable suggestion. I think that build number should be added on every watermark. Keeping design in mind, watermark should disappear from ingame overlay.

This is kind of pointless. All public servers will be Release branch and if it's not the latest version, the player can't even connect to the server. I'd say it would make sense to close this issue.

We could add it for debug build, Dev and RC build.

Well over 2 years later I agree that it's nonsense for Release branch 😄
