When selecting a new font for a titlebar, for example, I think we need a new button in the dialog to update the preview window. While the sample text panel is fine as far as it goes, I know what the font looks like against a flat white background, but I can't tell how it's going to look against a gradient titlebar background or a concave or convex button.
Having to click OK to close the font selection dialog only to update the preview and then having to open it again to try something else seems like a lot of button presses for little reward. If the preview can't automatically change to match the dropdown selections in the dialog, then a Preview button would resolve the condition (and handily open the preview window if not already open).
