Is it possible to use app groups in altstore? #1417

When trying to use app groups met with the fact that when installing via alt store, they don't work. Is there any solution for this? I see that the alt store widget also uses groups, but I don't understand why they work

I am having the same issue, has anyone managed to solve this?
Widgets work ok as long as they are static, once an "App group" is added (for data sharing) the widget doesn't load at all. It doesn't even show the static/placeholder values. I am able to reproduce this behaviour on iOS 17.5, as well as on iOS 18.
