also receiving the -22411 error in two other cases: (1) trying to sign into altstore on the iPhone using the apple id given to altserver (2) trying to install altstore on the iPhone from altserver

I'm also seeing (2), when trying to install from Catalina onto my iPhone XS Max and iPad Pro 11". I'm running iOS 14 Beta, so maybe that is the problem.

Im getting the same issue. Has anyone figure out how to get Altserv installed? Any update is greatly appreciated.

OS 10.15.6 IOS 13.5

For me the issue was the beta - when i downgraded to catalina and used altserver 1.3 it worked.

What this error means is that you need to sign into a device with the Apple ID before using it with AltStore. I'm assuming this is a throwaway Apple ID so what I would do is either use your primary Apple ID (it is completely safe to do so) or log into iCloud on your iOS device with this Apple ID.

You are partly correct #175 you need to add the account into passwords&accounts. Your method works if the current device still has the account on device and in order to do that while having your current Main one you need it still logged in so you would put it in passwords & accounts and add the Apple ID to the line of emails.

Simply sign in to app store with the same apple ID on altserver, when you are trying to refresh all apps etc. it will ask you to 2 ways verfication where you will say allow and put the key poped up when you said allow... and this will make it work. I had this problem and i stayed trying for several minutes and this solved it.

Had the same issue; couldn't refresh any app.

  1. I signed my Apple ID out of AltStore.
  2. Signed the same Apple ID out of my phone.
  3. Restarted my phone.
  4. Signed back into AltStore with my Apple ID.
  5. Tried refreshing apps again, and it worked.

Hope this helps someone..
