Same problem here, is there a workaround?
IOS 13.3.1
almost the same when installing altstore windows but instead 0xe8008018 (The identity used to sign the executable is no longer valid)
Not Working For Me Too. I Reinstalled AltStore And This Happened.
This issue should be fixed on the latest versions of AltStore/AltServer. Closing this issue.
Still not fixed on the latest version
@vamgan Please provide the following information if you can:
Are you having the exact same issue as @hbbxmjbb? Lastly, can you try uninstalling AltServer and using the latest beta AltServer.
Exact same issue
Windows 10
Installed and reinstalled many times the latest version: 1.3.2 beta 3
Also having this issue on latest version 1.3.2, iPhone 7 13.5 on Windows 10
Please try deleting the “adi” folder in iTunes’ file directory, then restart your computer and try again.
The first time I attempted it, AltServer exited while "installing" without any error prompt. I tried it a second time (after deleting the file again and restarting) and it continues to give me the same error. The file reappears after each reboot. I've already restored my phone, tried a new Apple ID, reinstalled ITunes/ICloud a few times, disabled my firewall, and a few other things.
Please make sure that your iOS Time + Date and Windows Time + Date are correct and in sync. This should fix your issue.
Solved! I guess my BIOS never had its system time set correctly and this managed to solve it after enabling automatic time setting, automatic timezones, and syncing with windows again. Thank you for the help, this was extremely frustrating.
If you have Reprovision installed try downgrading it to previous version or uninstall it..downgrading worked for me..:)
Using win7, time is correct, checked, synced once more, but didn't helped me, still have error: "Failed to verify code signature of /private/var/installd'Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd,staging/temp.4TdWwd/extracted/Altstore.app : 0xe800800d (There was an error communicating with your device.)" Altstore installing perfectly on my SE, but it is not installing on my 5S. Update: cleared iPhone data and restored it from iCloud. Altstore installed on 5S
Sorry @cdK1337 what exactly do you mean by "cleared iPhone data"? Did you restore the phone, or use one of the options in the Reset menu? Or was it on the Mac side? I'd appreciate if you could elaborate a bit :)
Hello @halfbrilliant I cleared all iPhone data from the options in reset menu, so the phone was like new. I was using windows 7. Don't remember how I restored all data - from windows or from options on the phone, I don't remember, but, probably, when the phone turned on, it suggested me to restore all data from iCloud.
i just got the same problem

Exact same is happening for me. please help..
Hi, I am getting this error. I set my time zone and bios time zone but that didnt fix it. I'm on windows 10 altserver 1.4.4.0 using a iphone XS ios 14.6
Solution that worked for me: when you run it for first time do it as admin
What worked for me: restart device and update iTunes
Figured I'd write out some tips for our Win users given how finicky AltServer for Windows is rn.
Sidenote: Check your computer’s time to make sure it’s right (it messes with SSL if it’s wrong)
TRY FIRST
Test: Creating a new user on your computer and log into that user and install AltServer, iTunes, iCloud to see if it’s corrupted files on your user login that is cuasing the issue + try again.
Full Re-installation
Having this issue when trying to install the latest version of cercube (16.29.4_T5.2.28) However, I was able to install a different app and was able to re install the previous version.
I am getting this message on my phone when trying to install it:
Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.qWAofd/extracted/App.app/Frameworks/Cydiasubstrate.framework : 0xe8008016 (The executable was signed with invalid entitlements.)
I redownloaded the IPA which did not work, then I just reinstalled the previous version. After this I installed a different app to make sure I could still do that and it worked fine. Is this just an issue with this version or this IPA? or is there something I can do to get around this and install the latest version?
I fail to see how this was ever solved... ??? I am getting this error; Win10, iPhone 7, iOS 14.7.1. I have uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes, iCloud, and tried different versions of AltServer. Tried TWO different machines, and even different USB cables.
@palmonte88 That genuinely seems like the latest version of Cercube could be problematic but it's hard to say who's fault it is. Can you install it manually with Sideloady?
@daiwuff You've def done enough troubleshooting. Error communicating with device is usually firewall / virus protection software but you got the same error on two machines. I wonder if the phone is at fault here. Can you borrow someone's iPhone and see if AltStore installs on that. That way we can narrow it down to being a phone issue?
@lonkle Yes, I did successfully install it on a different phone (6s running 14.2.1) after the fact. So yeah, definitely a phone issue. Due to latest iOS, maybe?
Setting PC time (Syncing) Solved the issue
I'm getting the same exact problem trying to install alt store on iphone 5s running ios 12.5.1 using Mojave (Mac OS X 10.14.6). Altserver version is 1.4.8 Any solution?

@harshavardhannarla what is that? I'm using Mac Os X Mojave (10.14) and in my "Date & Time" settings I already have ticked "Set date and time automatically". Still, I get the error mentioned in the issue
I tried install using sideloadly and it work just fine, i don't know what the problem. (Side note : installing app that are built in altstore just fine)
iOS : 14.4.2 Model : iPhone 6s Color : Space Gray Storage : 128GB
I use iPASTORE and having no problems installing regular Apps including hacked once.
And on this iPhone I'm on iOS 15.3.1
Having the same problem on iPhone 6s, iOS 14.2. Can install every ipa files but there's one ipa can't be installed (was successfully installed before but can't now) So far I've tried waited for 7 days so the app expired, reinstall altstore, itunes, icloud, run as admin, sync time between devices, reinstall the app using different jailbreak methods and nonjb state but no difference. But using Sideloadly works (worked with Apple ID sideload, using Normal Install mode returned the same error as AltStore)
Update: after installing AppSync Unified (Karen's Repo), ldrestart, restart Altserver, it works now, no more error.
IOS: 14.4.1 macos: 10.14.6
Have the same problem on my ipad ios 15.4.1, ipad 8th already set my system date and time correctly but it still not work

@DevPoli @palmonte88 @kestrelbright Has anyone of you solved the problem? Cause I just got the same 0xe8008016.
I managed to fix this by deleting apps from the phone which was installed by the expired altstore.
I am having the same issue when trying to DEACTIVATE or backup apps (ios 16.0.2, 14PM)
I sloved error Failed to verify code signature ... 0xe8008018
