Announce in late Jan early Feb to give 3-month notice prior to conducting the swap in May (1 month period).

I would not announce anything before we got the new tokens working perfectly and a swap tested ourselves.

We can't announce anything before we know it's 100% working, we can't fail at publicly delivering!

I suppose the announcement can not mention a date, but just to inform that a swap will happen.

ann date is obviously pushed back now . estimate we should have the priority features of aluna.social ready by 2 months from now, another 2 months to test and beef up.

so say if we plan to launch the token in end june (in line with public beta or public launch of social platform), we should announce the details at least 1-3 months before, so eqt users can be notified with enough grace period. imo it wouldn't make sense to announce the eqt swap without the full ALN token specs and whitepaper.

ideally we have the ann 3 months before we launch the token. if launch end june, we need whitepaper and aln specs ready by end march. realistically speaking, 1 month from now (march end) is probably too rush to have all that ready. maybe we can work towards having it all ready, including already having built the token and testing on testnet, by end april or may. then we can take the 3 months to also test the coin for micropayments on aluna.social, and launch live for both aluna.social and aluna token in July/August.

Sounds like a good start for the schedule.

Now that i'm finally sorting out the "invalid key" error with the apis and i have roughly sketched how "insights" will work, i'll be able to take a few days to work on the token repository and try out some stuff with John!
