Installer does when run in VMware Fusion #188

When the installer is run in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine, the installer fails with the message "Could not access network location \vmware-host\Shared Folders\Desktop\". Installation does not complete.

Shared folders seem to be working for other applications.

Is it failing to create an icon on the desktop?

Isn't that more like a vmware issue? Maybe this discussion can help https://communities.vmware.com/thread/244159?start=30&tstart=0

Perhaps. Haven't had issues with other installers though. If the installer is trying to create an icon, that shouldn't block the installation, and maybe should be an option to begin with. Nice google-fu though, I'll try that solution!

We don't create anything on the desktop actually.
