Package still maintained? Get more people involved? #562

Hi @alvarobartt – thanks for all the great work here!

Are you still actively maintaining the package? It feels like commits are rather sparse and open issues are piling up.

It would be a shame if the package became stale. Maybe there is a chance to get more people involved as contributors to the code and helping to take care of issues. I for one would be willing to help with the issues (and maybe a little coding here and there, I also contributed pypme and tessa as "surrounding" packages).

What do you think? And what do others – especially potential contributors – here think?

Hi, @ymyke so the last months have been crazy for me and I didn't have too much time, but I'm hoping that this summer I'll have free time so my plan is to completely refactor investpy and provide a better and more consistent version. So yes, it's still maintained and I've some cool ideas to develop, just missing some time...

Regarding the contributions sure, but since I'm planning a refactor I think it's better to wait! Thanks anyway for offering yourself

That's actually very helpful, thank you so much!
