add yaml support #5

Hi @jim-minter. Just two things:

  1. Thank you very much for this PR and the care for the details (Readme, tests, etc.). At first, I was reticent to merge this PR because the go-yaml is not part of the standard library, but after some research, it seems like that library is almost the standard way to marshal YAML.
  2. Sorry for taking so long to answer, It was Christmas time and I was on vacation.
