ALVR's Hand Tracking "Trigger" Sensitivity / Dead-Zone #121

Closed Jeff07734 closed 1 year ago

Hello, I'm unsure if I am posting this in the correct place, but I tried out the hand tracking experiment for fun, and I tried playing a game (Rec Room) with it, but this game reacts to the smallest trigger presses, meaning I can't even have my hand at a resting position. Obviously, I don't expect this to be very usable, but the ability to have the "trigger" sensitivity way less would at least make this possible to use in this game. Is there any way to do this?

Settings: "Other" => "Controller Pose Offset" => "-1" => "Save"

I think @Jeff07734 was referring to the new hand tracking feature in ALVR. Its more a proof of concept and not really usable right now. The sensitivity for the pinch gesture is only one of many things that need some work

Currently all hand tracking button bindings have been removed. Closing. We can open another PR for new more ergonomic gesture bindings.
