As listed here on the Wiki, you can use ADB and port-forwarding in order to run ALVR through a cable, thus removing the need to run it through your router, resulting in effectively a standalone Quest link cable.
However, upon running the commands and verifying that they connect (it connects successfully), the streamer rapidly begins disconnecting and reconnecting from the headset, showing no error message or line of text in the logs except for an initial buffer socket send. I've tried everything to get this to work with no luck. Multiple reinstalls have not helped.
