hardware solution? #4

Hi!

I saw such device https://lumi-star.com/uploads/LS-28-DRSM.pdf

Can you explain me - maybe I am wrong - such device can do work like fpf?

Hi,

it is an Rf receiver with does demodulation and very initial processing steps. FPF may be used on its output (.e.g. to examine aquired frames and extract CCSDS packets from frames), so its function is mainly complementary. But some overlap olso exists ( RS decoder, which thus may be used either in the receiver or in further software processing).
