It would be cool if you could place glowstone piles. They would get the lightlevel of the neighbouring block when you connect it as an input on the edge of the circuit. If you put it on the edge as an output it will make the circuit emit the lightlevel. It would be cool if you could apply the same analogue system that has already been inplemented with tiny piles of redstone. This could allow for very awesome lighting.

Hmm... Interesting concept, this isn't what my stream chat suggested last night but I like it too... Will look into it for 1.1.0 :)

Also it might be cool if there was a component that converted from glowstone analogue to redstone analague so we could do interesting logic gates with light.
