Subtractor/Divider Not outputing a signal #127

Open dovahkiin4991 opened 7 years ago

Upon using any of the componants listed above the multimeter gives an output of 0 and no redstone signal is sent out of the circuit, all of the inputs/outputs are correctly set, and none of the componants above show any signal no matter what orientation they are in.

Do you have a screenshot or a video of your setup? I can't reproduce it in my test world

convict999 commented 7 years ago

i imagine this refers to the sub/div component receiving undesired power to a side during placing, adjustments or rotating, temporarily disconecting and reconect all io usually resets component

Ill remake the setup, I removed the circuit when it didn't work the first time, this is also using the first public release, I haven't checked if there is a new version yet. I also have tried rotating it all different directions and disconnecting/reconnecting all the I/o 2016-11-08_09 13 23

do you have a value set in the constant? (wire looks unlit!) the side of the divider with line should be the largest number the scanner output will be divided into. eg constant output 34, scanner output 17, divider output = 2

convict999 commented 7 years ago

or set constant to 17, then multiply the divider output by 17 again to get vanilla comparator strenght output.. i think :D

dovahkiin4991 commented 7 years ago

I got it to work, I must have not checked the output when the line faced the scanner, the output does definitely need to be reset everytime because it holds its current power level after rotating the divider thanks for the help!

vanilla comparator output, constant set to 17 http://imgur.com/gallery/N2W5W

This should be linked to #126 Similar to lever being rotated, outputs req updating.
