Cleaning up some git stuff and start to use MD in README #5

Hi Alessandro,

Would you agree to remove to some files from git visibility? Like objects and such? In the commits I also added some markdown lines in the README, just to see how it works out.

Oh, I also deleted Makefile from the git repo, because ./configure generates this file.

EDIT: The markdown doesn't show because I forgot to change the filename to end in .md. I will change that so it works.
