What versions of the autotools should we require? At the moment I only require version 2.69 of autoconf.
This may be wrong for other linux or non-linux OS's, but we do need a version past 2.13, I don't know which one.
Also we need to require a version of libtool. I know that the older versions are not compatible with the current version, so we need to come up with a number that is acceptable for most.
Of course, this is not urgent, until we start thinking of creating a distribution.
