Suggestions For better funcationality #1

Hi, Thanks for putting effort into making such a useful package. I have few suggestions you could incorporate.

  1. Allotment/Refund/Listing dates
  2. Description about company
  3. splitting NII into bid of <10L , >10L/
  4. A buy/sell recommendation based on gmp and subscription status.

Apart from this it would be better to add status and ipo_type fields rather putting in them in name of company. And displaying gmp as percentage of price too.

Do let me know if you need help with anything.

You can choose to implement any of them you feel gives good direction to this package.

Hey Rohit! Thanks a lot for taking the time of going through this project, you have made some excellent suggestions. I was never expecting any traction to this package and had built this for personal use. I'm curious to know how you came across it.

The first suggestion and GMP suggestion are doable with minimal effort. Will work on it soon. I had already moved on to another personal project, but I will be working on this package actively whenever I get time.

Just luck i guess. I am making a discord bot to alert myself of ipo.

Great. Would love to see a update version. If you dont get time, do let me know. I can raise a pr with these suggestions.

@rohit1998 What a coincidence, I already have a discord and telegram bot myself! I had built these as I was missing good IPOs since market hours overlap with my work hours. The bot sends IPO alerts everyday at 1.00 pm which is around lunch time.

The bot is being used in multiple finance related discord servers, I can send you an invite privately if required.
