Doesn't work with nokia 6630, when starting the clien app, it just stops
responding ( symbian 8.1a ). Exit button doesn not do anything, i can't
close the app, only restarting the phone helps...

Thanks for testing it - I'll check the app and phone specs to see what is going
wrong.

Hello,

First make sure that the daemon is running:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/btlirc restart
$ ps ax | grep btlirc
12651 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/bin/python /usr/share/btlirc/btlirc.py
12755 pts/1 S+ 0:00 grep btlirc

Then try this application:
http://lirc-bluetooth.googlecode.com/files/DiscoveringServices.jar
(http://tinyurl.com/cdy2yv)

http://lirc-bluetooth.googlecode.com/files/DiscoveringServices.jad
(http://tinyurl.com/asdk6f)

First select Discover Devices, then the bluetooth mac address of your PC, the
select
Discover Service. There will be very long list on the display - check if there
is
"Service - Bluemote Service".

Let me know for the results.
