Left and Right Triggers and Right Analog not responding for wired XBOX360 controller

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect a wired 360 controller
2. Install PadTie0.1b1-2 and Run the shortcut as Administrator
3. Go to the controler's "Pad" tab (Pad #1 in my case)
4. Go to the Button Layout tab for the controller
5. Click the Wizard button
6. Press the Left Trigger as requested

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The wizard should say Mapped ____ to Left Trigger.  Instead there is no response

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using one of the new black wired controllers with the most recent drivers 
and MS Accessory Software on Win7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
Other buttons are not detected as well.  They are:
The Right Trigger
The Left Analog stick in the left direction (The rest works fine)
The Right Analog stick in any direction (Button works fine)
The System Button (Brings up the MS Accessory Software) 

I think the triggers are each considered an axis as they have analog responses.
