Will look into it. But it may logically happened if the stream/video loaded faster than subtitle.
it's still happening by the way. my guess of what's happening is that when whatever I am watching sometimes when it skips the intro and the subtitles don't update to the new time, or they do but not at the correct time. but it's an uneducated guess, I have no idea why it's happening
edit: it's the same person. I think I made a different account on accident lol
What source did you use?, If possible, please give me what series & episode? And if you can, record problem video, so I know what actually need to fix.
I mainly use source 1, and the problem about subtitle only happened a couple time for me before on other source (forgot what source), but never see that problem again.
Subtitles arnt always synced I use source 3 and use dub with English dub and subtitles are out by about 8 sec this is consistent with basicly all apps like animetv. I would add a Subtitle sync button where you can adjust how the Subtitle times so for example if subtitles are ahead by 8 sec move subtitles back by 8000ms. That way the user can adjust for this.
it's normal for subtitle on dub, because subtitle is fetch from sub stream, and video on dub stream, so it's actually a different stream and may not synced. I cannot do anything about it, because even in source website there is no subtitle on dub.
I don't think I will add subtitle sync option.
Is it actually the problem of DUB with Subtitle? If that th` case, I cannot fix it, and the issue should be close
I never tried without Dub but yes the problem is with dub and subtitle. Do you have a suggestion to try what to do if it happens though?
I cannot support & fix dub with subtitle because actually there is no source that have dub with subtitle, maybe I can just remove that feature if it have too many problem like that.
It is feature that requested by users, and I implemented it with note "No Complain", because not just sync issue, but also when you watch it, the words comes from dub audio is not match with words comes from subtitle (If you watch English dub with English Subtitle), and I mention that it was so disoriented.
I don't think adding sync timing button is the right things to do. it happened only on dub with sub. and the apps is not video player like vlc, it just feels not right for streaming app. The only solution is remove sub on dub the features if it have too much problem.
I keep it open before because I thought it happened for normal Softsub (Japan audio with Softsub).
When the subtitles get delayed all the subtitles on the rest of the episodes get delayed and even sometimes subtitles happen too early like 20 seconds later it shows the proper subtitles for the scene before.
