if you look for a 3945 driver, there's on who works ONLY with open networks,
they
don't work yet for WEP or WPA.It's a pre-alpha, i think it could work with
10.5.8
http://www.facebook.com/pages/mercurysquad/130654692121
you can follow the developpement and download the driver from the post where he
saids
"People whined, so here you go." click on Voodoo Intel 3945 PRE-ALPHA driver
pack and
voilà ;)

Thank you... :) A question... This pre-alpha works on Vanilla Kernel or ather
ones??
Or it's only tested on Voodoo???
Thx ;)

Bad result for me too...
It detects the new network interface but everytime i try to active it, system
crashes
and i need to restart manually because even the mouse is blocked...
I've tried iwidarwin and also Voodoo Intel 3945 PRE-Alpha driver pack....
Considering
that i have a different kernel from voodoo, it doesn't work for me!
Let see other solution :P

Hey guys... I have some news ;)
I've installed the new "voodoo intel 3495.kext" file with the older two ones...
Now,
I can connect using Airport on a free(without wep or wpa passphrases) wifi
network..
There is an essential configuration:
radio channel --–> Automatic(i think it works only with 11b networks, maybe!)
DHCP Service---> YES!! (I had some problems with fixed addresses... Infact if i
use
theese last ones, Airport connects for 2 second max. and then disconnects from
the
network changing all the ip configuration and finally re-setting on dhcp
use....)
However the connection isn't very fast... Only 11 Mbps max, but is a start
point! XD
Bye ;)

Hi huever...
Go here --> http://projectcamphor.mercurysquad.com/ --> You can found in the
post
saying "Voodoo intel 3945: pre-alpha download" the download link of the first
kext
that sometimes generate some kernel panics.. If you will encounter some panics
use
this one fixed --> http://www.sendspace.com/file/p9ragy (This link is posted in
the
last post "for those who got kernel panics with the previous kext")
After you've downloaded the file, use the old 2 files and the fixed must
replace the
old one...
If you have other problems.. write here! ;)

I've installed all 3 kexts files but nothing else is recognized..
I report the message log:

I've understand that the dependency problem is causated by the kext
IO802family.kext but when i replace that
with one find on the project page the system crash,.
UFf.f. I 'dont know haw i can proceed..

Hi... :)
It's strange because this problem you're having was resolved with the fixed
version
of the kernel...(i had the same problem when i used not-fixed kernel)
I read your report and i've understood that there is an error during the
initialization of the firmware....
Are you sure did you fixed the kernel?!
If yes, try to delete all the kext relatives to the wificard, reboot and
install again...
In other words: Let's see how to resolve, don't worry...
P.S.: I'm not developper or bug tester of this project XD i would like it.....
:P
