Allow skins to open OnlineVideos in a specific way

What enhancement or feature would you like?
With http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=3061 it will be possible 
for skins to open a plugin with a parameter string. OnlineVideos could then be 
opened in a specific configuration (e.g. Site, Category,...).

How would you expect it to work? Can you illustrate it with examples such
as images or scenarios?

The user would be able (e.g. via skin editor) to define multiple Items on the 
Basic Home linking to mptvseries, each opening the plugin with a different 
parameter. For example there could be an icon for "Youtube", one for "Revision 
3" and one for "Apple Trailers -> Just Added".

Examples for startup options:
Open specific site
Open specific site category
Open specific layout
...

I'm currently working on a specification to allow many possibilities for this 
feature and will post it in the forums for open discussion.
