Clarify Ion MIME type #124

Hi all – I see application/ion listed as a provisional MIME type at IANA. Question: Is this MIME type for our Ion, or a different Ion?

Note that there's another Ion, featured here. I'm not sure what the status of that project is, but this article says that its MIME type is application/ion+json.

If application/ion is indeed meant to be the MIME type for our Ion, this should probably be noted in the docs.

That is the MIME type for Amazon Ion. You can find more details here: https://github.com/amzn/ion-java/issues/82.

I will leave this issue open until we make progress on that process and add a note about the MIME type to the docs.
